Never Fear.

It is interesting how life jumps up and tests you when you least expect it. You might think that our lives over the last 26 months or so have presented such a test. That is so, but that is not the test to which I refer. We had a hairy situation present itself in the neighborhood the other day. I won’t go into detail, but I will tell you how proud I am of Sandy for jumping to when called. I thought I would be forced to deal with the threat alone, at great risk to myself, but Sandy really stepped up. I am sure she was scared, but she did not let her fear hold her back. She may have felt weak or doubted her ability, but she did not let that get in the way.

You can see from the photo taken by a photographer on the scene that, despite still being on chemotherapy and those dreadful injections of human growth hormones (HGH), she has almost completely regained her fighting weight and shape. Of course, I’ve never looked better!
